Use cases/Trend research
Social trend research API
Trends show up as views piling onto a topic, hashtags gaining videos, and new searches people type. Read those signals from YouTube, TikTok and Instagram on a schedule and chart them over time.

export API_URL="https://api.socialparse.dev"
curl -H "x-api-key: $API_KEY" "$API_URL/v1/youtube/search?q=running"
curl -H "x-api-key: $API_KEY" "$API_URL/v1/youtube/hashtags/shorts?tag=funny"

How often should I sample?
Daily is enough for most trends; hourly for launches and live events.

Not yet: use hashtag stats and search suggestions for TikTok, and YouTube search for videos by keyword.
Does a YouTube search use quota?
No. There's no daily quota, only your credits and the per-minute rate limit.
